8.CLEAR SKIES BY JAUME ZAPATA

5. February, 2024 - Reading time 4 min.

Hello out there!

Today I am hosting a very bright mind. His motto: “Clear skies” is just a pure positivity and I am sensing this kind of vibes energy throughout his entire work. It just feels like this Sunday morning when you get out and stand on your porch, sun is shining, birds tweeting and you know that day is going to be a just great. After listening to Stephen Hawking`s “Brief history of time” you get to understand how important positive energy is! Some of the astrophotography that Jaume sent me to be presented here goes beyond my comprehension. How do you get pictures like that with a performance of a single headcount ?

Here are few Jaume Zapata´s rig specs:

  • Losmandy Titan + Orion Optics 14" (F/4.6), ZWO ASI2600MM Pro

  • Sky-Watcher EQ6-R Pro + TS 80/480, Player One Artemis Pro-M

And here is the description of the pictured astrophotography:

Picture1: The Ghost of Cassiopea (IC63),-from-Sabadell-(Barcelona,-Bortle-7)

Picture 2: SH2 240 The Spaghetti Nebula (How colloquial is that?)

Picture 3: The Tadpoles and the Flaming Star nebulae

Picture 4: Tadpole Nebula (IC-410)

Picture 5: Melotte-15 The Heart of the Heart Nebula,-in-HOO
